Partnership with WEConnect International – Announcement

23.09.2021

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is delighted to announce a new partnership with WEConnect International to support successful women-owned businesses. The partnership will help women connect on a global scale and open up new opportunities for these entrepreneurs’ personal and business growth.

WEConnect International is a global non-profit that works to connect women-owned businesses to qualified buyers in the local and global market. This collaboration between WEConnect International and EO will strengthen and expand WEconnect International’s networks of women-owned entrepreneurs, growing the potential impact of the organization.

Over the next year, women business owners will be able to learn from each other and leverage connections in both communities to grow their business and access helpful networks. The teams will work together to offer educational workshops in high growth regions internationally, targeting women-owned businesses with annual sales of over one million dollars that are seeking new business development opportunities as well as a transformational community where personal advancement can be gained.

Speaking about the partnership, Carrie Santos, Chief Executive of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, said, “The Entrepreneurs’ Organization exists to support business owners – and we are excited to be able to provide more specialized support for women in business through our partnership with WEConnect. Female entrepreneurship is on the up – growing by 114% over the past 20 years – but we can do more to encourage more women to start their own business. EO is committed to helping our women members succeed personally, professionally and within our community. We look forward to growing our ability to do so with WEConnect.”

Elizabeth A. Vazquez, CEO and Co-Founder of WEConnect International, said: “Women’s economic empowerment has never been more important than it is today. We are excited to work with Entrepreneurs Organization to expand access for women-owned businesses seeking connections that can help accelerate their growth.”
